Barker and Moakler were in attendance as Grammy and Emmy award-winning artist will.i.am and GenArt kicked-off Grammy week with the opening night of the “Worlds on Fire: Grammy-nominated Artist Exhibition” in downtown Los Angeles. The exhibit showcases powerful synergy between pop music and pop art.

Works from new and established artists including Shepard Fairey, SAS Christian, Lori Earley, Colin Christian and Jeremy Lipking are featured in the exhibit.

Portraits in the exhibition honor 2009 Grammy nominees Al Green, BB King, Beck, Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Duffy, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Madonna, Metallica, M.I.A., Nas, Nine Inch Nails, Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Rick Rubin, Rihanna, Shawn Barber, Snoop Dogg and will.i.am.

Guests at the event enjoyed beverages by Jacob’s Creek and a silent auction. Proceeds benefited the Black Eyed Peas’ Peapod Foundation and other local charities benefiting Los Angeles Youth. The Worlds on Fire exhibit runs daily now through Feb. 8 at the Pacific Electric Lofts in downtown Los Angeles.
