Justin Timberlake Added As A Partner To Pilgrimage Festival

Justin Timberlake is a new partner and producer of the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in the same Tennessee community where he lives.

The festival announced the partnership with the musician and actor on Tuesday. Pilgrimage, a two-day music festival, debuted last year on a horse farm in Franklin, Tennessee, and was co-founded by Kevin Griffin of the band Better Than Ezra.

The Memphis-born singer said in a statement that it was “an amazing opportunity to help build an exceptional event and contribute to my community,” and Griffin called Timberlake “a perfect fit” for the festival.

This year’s festival lineup on Sept. 24 and Sept. 25 includes Beck, Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Kacey Musgraves. The festival said Timberlake will not be performing this year.
