Bethenny Frankel To Become A ‘Real’ Wife — She’s Engaged

“Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel is about to live up to the Bravo show’s name.

The 38-year-old reality star is engaged to boyfriend Jason Hoppy, she confirmed to People.

“It feels great, because I’m with the right person,” Bethenny told the mag. “He’s may be regretting it because it’s been beyond a week and he’s in panic mode – [but] no, we’re enjoying it.”

Jason, 38, popped the question on October 8 after 11 months of dating, making the big move at home in Bethenny’s Upper East Side apartment.

According to the mag, she arrived home that day to find her hallway filled with rose petals and votive candles — and her man.

“You are the love of my life. Will you marry me?” Jason asked her.

Jason told the mag that he was ready for a life with the outgoing star.

“She is very much a handful but one thing she did say to me is she needs a man that can handle her and that I can,” he said.

“Real Housewives of New York City” returns to Bravo in 2010, with two new “Housewives” — Sonja Morgan, a single mother, and Jennifer Gilbert, a married mother of three who owns an event planning company.
