Bethenny Frankel is truly a Skinnygirl!
The talk show host and former “Real Housewives” star caused a bit of frenzy with some of her Instagram followers after she modeled her 4-year-old daughter’s clothes.
“This is my daughter’s nightgown and PJ shorts. Think we’re ready to start sharing clothes yet?” the 43-year-old wrote in a caption on Instagram of herself wearing daughter Bryn’s Hello Kitty pajamas.
Some fans were quick to sound off, blasting the TV personality.
“Trying to understand how a potential eating disorder, poor body image, and setting a poor example for your child equates to a joke,” one of her followers wrote.
“More like skeleton girl than skinny girl,” another reader commented.
“This is not cute or funny in any way. Please get help so be a good role model for your beautiful daughter,” another wrote.
Others defended Bethenny’s clothing choice.
“I’m not sure why the negativity. It’s obviously a joke. I seriously doubt someone who can wear the fab clothes she does would consider trading them in for garanimals. Lighten up folks,” one of her followers wrote.
Another said, “Omg people get over it. Shes a petite woman. Thats how her body is and she cant do anything about it.”
On Monday, Bethenny responded to her critics.
