Betty White Surprised With Birthday Flash Mob

Betty White was treated to the surprise of a lifetime on Friday when the cast and crew of “Hot in Cleveland” greeted her with a birthday flash mob.

Co-star Dave Foley drove the actress around the Studio City, Calif., TV lot on a golf cart — one day ahead of her 93rd birthday. When they approached the “Hot in Cleveland” soundstage, Betty was ambushed with a luau-themed song and dance.

Her friends dressed in grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts for the routine. Co-stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick even performed a special hula dance.

“At 93, you shouldn’t be doing this,” she joked in gratitude.

Celebrations continued on the show’s set, where Betty blew out candles on her tropical birthday cake.
