Access hones in the wonderful Betty White, who was on hand to dedicate Stage 2 at the Sunset Gower Studios as the brand new “Golden Girls” stage.”
The show was shot at the studios for the majority of its seven year run.
And being 84 hasn’t slowed Betty down a bit. She gave us a tour of her home away from home — the Los Angeles Zoo.
Betty got cozy with “Rocky” the sea lion, who suffers from the eye disease “age related macular degeneration” — an affliction that strikes humans as well.
Betty, who is a spokeswoman for the “My Eye Health” organization, was lucky enough to give Rocky a couple of kisses.
“He’s a very good kisser,” Betty said. “I’d say I’d rate him on a scale of 1 to 10 about a 2 1/2.”
