Beyonce headed to New Orleans on Friday, for what is rumored to be sister Solange Knowles’ wedding weekend.
Solange, 28, is engaged to 51-year-old Alan Ferguson, a music video director, and the couple enjoyed a party with friends and family (including Bey, but no Jay Z) at NOLA’s Indywood Cinema on Friday night.

The couple showed 1975’s “Mahogany” (starring Diana Ross) at the bash – the movie they saw on their first date, according to People.
“It was pretty adorable,” Hayley Sampson, who co-owns the film house with brother Will, told the mag. “They were talking about how they met and that they bonded [over] this film and then showed everybody the movie.”
Beyonce rocked an all-black outfit with a blue jacket for the night, while bride-to-be Solange looked stunning in an ivory dress and gold heels.

The movie theater posted about the bash on their Facebook page, writing, “SO Beyonce and Solange watched ‘Mahogany,’ the great Diana Ross movie, at Indywood last night. Solange is getting married to a wonderful man on Sunday and they rented out the theater for a pre-wedding party. It was beautiful, they were beautiful, Diana Ross is beautiful, love is beautiful.
“Sadly, we were not allowed to take any selfies, but pics should be coming soon,” the post continued.
