Beyonce Imposter Dupes Austrian Museum

Millions of women wish they were Beyonce – and one look-a-like attempted to get a taste of Sasha Fierce’s life on Tuesday when she posed as the singer at a museum in Austria.

According to People, The Albertina Museum in Austria received a call on Tuesday from someone who claimed to be Beyonce’s manager saying the singing superstar was on her way to the museum for a visit.

“We have had Brad Pitt and Nicolas Cage visit here,” museum press officer Verena Dahlitz told the mag. “So this was not big news for us – to have celebrities visit.”

Approximately 30 minutes later and to the cheers of screaming fans, a woman in wrap-around sunglasses stepped out of a limo with five massive bodyguards in tow – but the museum employees were skeptical.

“She was too thin for Beyonce,” Dahlitz said. “I thought she had probably lost weight.”

Regardless of their doubts, the staff reportedly gave the woman a VIP tour of their collection.

Later, the museum was informed that the woman was, in fact, not Beyonce, but actually a look-a-like hired by local radio station, Krona Hit Radio.

“We were fooled,” Dahlitz admitted while still seeing the positive side of the radio station’s stunt. “We must be the most important museum in Vienna… because they chose us!”

A rep for Beyonce could not be reached for comment when contact by the mag.
