‘Biggest Loser’ Couple Sam Poueu & Stephanie Anderson Tie The Knot

“The Biggest Loser” Season 9 contestants Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson have made their love official!

The couple, who met in 2009 on the NBC hit reality series, tied the knot at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church in San Francisco on Saturday, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The 32-year-old bride wore a White by Vera Wang gown, while the groom, 27, and his groomsmen donned Black by Vera Wang tuxes, according to People.

The wedding marks a joyous occasion for the couple, who recently weathered a rough patch after Sam suffered serious injuries following a fall from the roof of a four-story apartment building on September 3, 2011.

Sam, who lost 142 pounds during his time on “Biggest Loser,” was attempting to climb down a fire escape at a friend’s apartment building after being locked out while on the building’s rooftop when the accident occurred.

After undergoing three surgeries to treat a variety of injuries, including a pelvic injury, a punctured lung, torn ligaments and a broken leg, Sam’s family announced he was out of the woods and on the road to recovery in late September.

Sam and Stephanie got engaged in October 2010 while shooting an episode of “Biggest Loser.”
