Bill Cosby Tweets Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

Bill Cosby has broken his silence amid multiple sexual abuse allegations levied against him.

On Tuesday evening, the former TV star took to Twitter to thank two celebrities who have spoken out on his behalf in recent weeks.

“Thank you @WhoopiGoldberg,” the 77-year-old wrote on Twitter.

Whoopi seemed to defend the comedian on “The View” on November 17 during a conversation about celebrities being falsely accused of things, saying, “I hope somebody gets to the bottom of this, but I’m going to reserve my judgment because I have a lot of questions, as I said. It’s crazy, but I have a lot of questions, because I know we all have friends who have gone through this.”

Cosby also posted a grateful message to Jill Scott, who fired back at a Twitter user on Monday who was asking the singer to sign a petition asking Temple University to end their relationship with the comedian.

“Thank you @MissJillScott, from the Cosby Family,” he Tweeted.
