Billy Bush Joins Jamie Foxx, J.Lo & More For HFPA Luncheon

Jamie Foxx, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Hilary Swank and Access
Hollywood’s
own Billy Bush were just a few of the celebs who helped the
Hollywood Foreign Press Association hand out $1.2 million in grants to film
schools and non-profit organizations on Thursday.

Charlize Theron, Masi Oka and Forest Whitaker were also among those on hand
at the organization’s annual Installation Luncheon.

As a board member of the Lollipop Theatre Network, Billy was overjoyed to
accept one of the grants handed out by the HFPA.

“To be on the radar with the HFPA means so much to our little
organization,” Billy said of the Lollipop Theatre Network. “Last year
our budget was about $150,000. So this is real. This also opened some star and
studio eyes which will help us get more entertainment to more children who
can’t get away from the hospital to see it on their own. What an awesome
day!”

HFPA president Jorge Camara was delighted by the outpouring of star power,
which helped make such a difference to all of the organizations involved.

“We’re delighted that so many celebrities and community leaders were
able to be with us today for our annual installation luncheon to celebrate the
Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s donations to 28 outstanding film-related
charities and educational institutions,” Camara said. “We are proud
that this year’s annual grants exceed $1,200,000 and our total tally for grants
given during the last 13 years is more than $7.7 million. We are thrilled that
the success of the Golden Globes allows us to be so generous.”
