Blake Shelton On Adam Levine: ‘I Want Him To Be More Like Me – Drunk All The Time’

Blake Shelton blames Adam Levine’s healthy living for why he gets frustrated with his fellow “The Voice” judge.

“I get frustrated with Adam because, to me, rock stars are supposed to be drunk all the time. But he’s very healthy,” Blake told Men’s Journal, which features the country star on its cover. “He takes care of himself. And it drives me crazy, because I want him to be more like me. Drunk all the time.”

The “Honey Bee” singer also addressed his relationship with wife Miranda Lambert, in the new interview.

“I don’t give her too much sh**, that’s like poking a bear,” he said. “She’s as lovable as can be – until you cross her. She’ll go from zero to 100 real quick. If Miranda has an inkling you’re saying something hardass to her, it’s gonna be a problem.”

Blake has just come off his third win on NBC’s “The Voice,” this time with teenager Danielle Bradbery, and he told the mag why he thinks viewers connect with him on the show.

“Sometimes I think they don’t know who all of us are in the middle. If there’s one thing special about me, it’s that I seem familiar,” he said. “People feel like I live next door.”
