Blake Shelton On Life After Miranda Lambert Divorce: ‘I’m Loving It’

Well, that was quick! Blake Shelton says he’s bounced back after his July divorce from Miranda Lambert.

When asked how he’s doing during an interview on CMT’s “Hot 20 Countdown Show” on Saturday, the “Sangria” singer said he’s “good.”

“I’m in a good place. I wasn’t, but I am now,” Blake said. “It’s amazing how quickly life can turn around for you.”

The country star/”The Voice” coach said he’s recently had some good times that have lifted his spirits.

“I’ve had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened, and I’m loving it,” he said.

Perhaps contributing to his lighter step is the fact that he’s physically dropped a bit of weight.

“I would like to sit here and tell you that I’ve been exercising, but I haven’t been,” he said. “I push-mow my lawn. I don’t know.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Blake and Miranda announced on July 20 that they were ending their four-year marriage.

“This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately,” the former couple said in a statement at the time. “We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
