Bobbi Kristina Brown Tearfully Accepts Billboard Music Award For Whitney Houston

Bobbi Kristina Brown couldn’t contain her emotions as her late mother, Whitney Houston, was honored at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

Following Jordin Sparks’ performance of “I Will Always Love You,” Bobbi Kristina took to the stage to accept the Millennium Award on her mom’s behalf.

“I really want to say thank you to everyone who supported us through it all,” the 19-year-old said, with the late singer’s manager and sister-in-law Patricia Houston by her side.

“Not just from when it was good but when it was bad, too. Thank you for showing that much love, because she deserved it,” Bobbi Kristina continued. “I’m just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman’s life. There will never be another one, ever.”

The night also included tributes to Donna Summer, with a performance of “Last Dance” by Natasha Bedingfield, and a performance of “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party!)” by Cee Lo Green in remembrance of the Beastie Boys’ Adam “MCA” Yauch.

Also, the Bee Gees’ Robin Gibb, who passed away on Sunday, was remembered by co-host Julie Bowen, who said, “His voice and music of the Bee Gees will live on forever.”
