Bobby Brown Beefs Up Security Over Old Al Qaeda Threat

Divorced pop singer Bobby Brown fears for his life.

According to the NY Daily News’ Rush & Molloy column, Brown still believes Osama Bin Laden is after him.

Several years ago, a former mistress of the terrorist leader, claimed Bin Laden had the hots for Bobby’s then-wife Whitney Houston. She further suggested Bin Laden wanted Brown dead to bring Whitney into his harem of wives.

The paper says, despite the admission years ago, Brown recently had his security boosted during a tour of Australia.

“I figure if Bin Laden wants me, and everybody is looking for him, it probably won’t happen. But if he wants to try and find me for something so stupid, he can do what he wants. I have to leave it in the hands of my higher power,” the paper quotes Brown as saying.

“Come on, if anybody [else was] threatened by Al Qaeda, they’d take it seriously.”

Brown’s agent did not respond to a message from the paper, requesting comment.

Houston filed for divorce from Brown in October 2006. The divorce was made final in April of this year.
