Bobby Brown: ‘You Have To Move On Sometimes’

Bobby Brown has rejoined the New Edition tour following Whitney Houston’s death.

During a concert on Thursday night in Maryland, Brown spoke out about Whitney, and just days before she will be laid to rest in New Jersey on Saturday.

“I would like to say thank you for your prayers,” he told the crowd. “I would like to say I love you all! I’d like to say thank you period. I want to throw two up for Whitney. That’s my love.”

Brown also acknowledged his family, who were in attendance at the concert, saying, “I want to throw two up for my family over there, sitting over there, my two sons, my daughter and my beautiful lady.

“Life is life. You have to move on sometimes. I love her [Whitney] like I love God!” Brown continued.

Adding, “My name is Bad-Ass Bobby Brown!”

A rep for New Edition told E! that Brown is expected to perform again tonight in Greensboro, N.C. and also on Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn., just hours after his ex-wife’s funeral.
