Bon Jovi Guitarist Richie Sambora Reportedly Entering Rehab Again

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora is reportedly headed to rehab again.

According to Radar Online and TMZ, the rock star plans to seek treatment while in the midst of touring with his band.

Radar reported the 52-year-old was checking in for help with exhaustion and to regain his sobriety.

“Richie recently has been drinking too much, and wants to get his life together,” a source told Radar.

Another source added, “Richie has had a busy year… I think this was a culmination of all the things that overloaded his life and finally he realized he needed to take care of himself.”

According to TMZ, Sambora, who was previously married to Heather Locklear and also dated Denise Richards, could check in as early as today.

A rep for Bon Jovi had no comment when contacted by Access Hollywood on Thursday.

As previously reportedly on AccessHollywood.com, Sambora sought treatment at the Cirque Lodge rehab center in Utah in 2007.

In 2008, the rocker pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit. He was sentenced to three years of informal probation, three months of first-offender alcohol awareness class and court fees.

Bon Jovi is scheduled to perform on April 30 in New Orleans.
