Brad Paisley isn’t resting on his album of the year award from the Country Music Association last Monday. He says he’s already written some songs for a new album which he’ll start later this month.
Paisley says he knows more now what the fans want when he’s performing live and that’s to have plenty of hit songs. He says some artists get too caught up in the production of shows and not the songs. He says writing songs is the first step or journey to having a good show.His fans want more personal songs at his concerts and that’s what he’s trying to do.
Paisley is currently promoting his holiday album “Brad Paisley Christmas.” He says it feels weird talking about a Christmas album before Thanksgiving, but he says he never gets tired of the Christmas season – he could get into the Christmas season “six months a year.”
He’s on tour in San Antonio this Thursday, Wichita Falls, Texas Friday and Oklahoma City on Saturday.
