Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie: Jewelry Designers

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly breaking into the bling market with a capsule collection of gold and silver jewelry with Asprey called The Protector – and they’ve looked to the snake for inspiration.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, the limited edition collection was conceived and designed by the acting powerhouse duo and will reportedly hit Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai this week.

The collection, which features rings, necklaces and bracelets, starts at $525 and proceeds will benefit the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which the actress founded in 2006.

Brad and Angelina declined to comment on the collection but released a statement about the charity, which the line will benefit.

“These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place — to just be children,” Angelina said in a statement. “Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.”

An Asprey rep would not comment on Brad and Angelina’s collection when contacted by WWD, but did confirm the details of the jewelry line.

According to WWD, Angelina was given a ring in the shape of a snake when she was pregnant with daughter Shiloh and the actress considers the serpent “a talisman and protector of her family.”
