Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie To Reunite On Big Screen For ‘By The Sea’

It’s official – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are teaming up, once again, on the big screen!

The superstar couple will co-star in Universal Pictures’ “By The Sea,” the studio announced on Friday.

Angelina will also serve as writer and director, while Brad will join her as co-producer, as well.

“I am very happy to continue my relationship with [Universal Pictures chairman] Donna [Langley] and the entire Universal team as I finish ‘Unbroken’ and begin work on ‘By The Sea.’ They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker,” Angelina said in a statement on Friday.

Angelina is currently finishing up “Unbroken,” a drama centered around Olympic athlete/war hero Louis Zamperini, which Universal will release on Christmas Day. Zamperini passed away earlier this month at the age of 97.

“By The Sea,” only described by Universal as an “intimate, character-driven drama,” will mark the first on-screen reunion for Brad and Angelina since 2005’s “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”
