Brad Womack Is A Hit With The Ladies On His First Night Back As ‘The Bachelor’

After three years — and a lot of therapy, Brad Womack made his return to “The Bachelor” on Monday night, giving himself a second shot at finding love.

Much of the ABC reality romance show’s premiere was devoted to the Texan’s apologies and explanations for dumping two women – DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft – on national television during his first stint on the show in 2007.

“The most empty feeling in the world was standing there all alone, knowing that I had just let go of two amazing women and after that, it took an extreme amount of self analysis thinking, ‘Maybe I’m not the man I thought I was,’” Brad told “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison of what got him back on the show following that infamous reality TV moment. “I’m not embarrassed to admit it. It took some pretty intensive therapy, it really did.”

Brad said he is now ready for a relationship, but admitted to being fearful that the women on the show might not believe him.

“I’ve spent three years in therapy, self analyzing, thinking, changing, improving, Now, I’m ready to fall in love, no doubt about it,” he said. “My biggest fear is these women are just simply not gonna believe that I’m a new man.”

Producers threw a twist Brad’s way before he met his court of 30 women – bringing DeAnna and Jenni back, and Jenni echoed Brad’s sentiment.

“I think once they figure out you’re their ‘Bachelor,’ their guards are gonna go up,” she said.

While guards may have been up for some of the women, not a single woman left when Brad offered them the opportunity, but things weren’t easy.

“I feel beat up,” he said after meeting a few of the ladies indoors.

Things, however, took a turn for the better for Brad, who ended the show, having selected 20 ladies to continue on with him on his journey, including Madison, a model with vampire fangs and two single moms – Michelle and Emily.

“I really, really do think that my wife is in this room, but we’re gonna have one hell of a ride to get there so lets have some fun,” he told the women, who made it through.

“The Bachelor” returns to ABC next week on Monday at 8 PM.
