Brett Favre Celebrates Playoff Win WIth ‘Pants On The Ground’ Performance

Brett Favre is an NFL icon – but apparently, he’s also somewhat of an “Idol.”

After Favre led his Minnesota Vikings to a playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, the 40-year-old quarterback gathered his teammates in the locker room, and instead of a motivational speech – Favre burst into song.

But not just any song – “Pants on the Ground.”

Making good on an apparent bet with rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin, Favre belted out a few lines from the self-penned song that General Larry Platt performed on last week’s “American Idol.”

“Pants on the ground! Pants on the ground! Hat to the side,” Favre sang, twisting his hat, as his teammates celebrated around him.

Favre reportedly told Harvin if the Vikings beat Tony Romo’s Cowboys, he’d sing the song – and sing it he did.

The Vikings will now take on Reggie Bush’s New Orleans Saints for a shot to go to the Super Bowl in Miami on February 7.
