Brie is speaking from personal experience. The 27-year-old had her moment at last year’s ceremony, where she was awarded the Best Actress statuette for her work in “Room.”

In a video shared on The Academy’s Instagram page Sunday night, Brie is shown surprising her fellow starlet with a big grin and even bigger hug as they both shed a few tears.

It’s not the first time Brie has been on hand for her buddy’s “La La Land” accolades.

The pair has been photographed together at other industry events throughout the season, including January’s Screen Actors Guild Awards – another prize the women now have in common.

On Saturday, the “Kong: Skull Island” star also shared an Instagram photo of her and Emma chatting at the Women in Film pre-Oscars party in Los Angeles, which Brie hosted.

In addition to Emma, Brie posed alongside other Academy honorees including Meryl Streep, Best Supporting Actress winner Viola Davis and more at the A-list event.
