HBO has unveiled the first new photos for “Game of Thrones” Season 2.
In the pictures, released on Thursday, fans can get first look at several new characters, including fan favorite Brienne, a female knight, played by newcomer to the series Gwendoline Christie.
Carice van Houten as Melisandre and Stephen Dillane as Stannis Baratheon were also featured riding horseback, as well as their associate, Liam Cunningham as Davos Seaworth, , about playing The Onion Knight. Click HERE to watch his interview
The 17 photos also contain a look at British veteran actor Patrick Malahide as Theon Greyjoy’s (Alfie Allen) father – Balon Greyjoy.
A host of photos of the returning cast members, including Emilia Clarke as Daenerys, Lena Headey as Cersei, and Kit Harrington as Jon Snow, were also released.
