‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Singing Sensation Wows The World

An unassuming “Britain’s Got Talent” contestant, Susan Boyle, stunned a British audience Saturday night with her unexpected and amazing voice – and now the world is taking notice.

The 47-year-old, who claims she has never been kissed, won over a cynical audience last weekend singing “I Dreamed A Dream” from the musical “Les Miserables” — and even “American Idol’s” Simon Cowell (who serves as a judge on the British show) was in awe.

“Susan, you are a little tiger!” Simon said following her performance that had the crowd on their feet cheering.

Susan was advanced in the competition by all three judges and is reportedly the favorite to win the BBC show, according to Britain’s The Times.

“That was stunning… the biggest ‘Yes’ I’ve ever given anyobdy,” fellow judge Piers Morgan gushed following Susan’s performance.

Her performance quickly became an Internet sensation, with millions of people around the world watching clips of her performance online – including Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.

“This just made my night,” Ashton wrote on his Twitter and included a clip of the Susan’s performance.

“You saw it made me teary!” wife Demi Twittered back.

According to the Times Online, Susan’s dream of becoming a professional singer is about to happen. Simon Cowell is reportedly working on a record deal for the British woman.

And here in the U.S., the media is going crazy for her — she’s already been featured on NBC’s “Today” show and Nightly News, and ABC’s “World News Tonight.”
