Britney Goes Burlesque (Clubbing… That Is)

It may have been midweek, and Paris Hilton may have been out of town, but nothing kept Britney Spears from painting Hollywood red last night.

The saucy pop princess hit the clubs with an unidentified female and a few of her backup dancers. One of their first stops?? Ivan Kane?s Forty Deuce.

Located on Melrose Avenue, the bar has more in common with Marilyn Manson missus Dita Von Teese than Britney Spears — after all, the bar not only serves drinks, but also offers a platform for burlesque dancers. The club is so popular, it also has an outpost in Vegas.

After leaving Forty Deuce, Britney headed over to Hollywood hipster hotel The Standard on the Sunset Strip. There, she found herself in a pickle. Her smile disappeared for a moment as a fan on the street ripped open the door to her chauffeured SUV and tried to hop in and join in the revelry. After dancing on camera and shocking the pop star, he was pulled out of the way by Brit?s bodyguards.

Britney spent much of the rest of the evening in the front window of the Standard?s diner, dancing & chatting with friends, seemingly oblivious to the paparazzi cameras outside.
