Britney Spears: My ‘Amazing’ X Factor Teen Team Has What It Takes To Win

Britney Spears knows firsthand what it takes to be a teen superstar and the pop princess – who was assigned to mentor the teenage contestants on “The X Factor” – says she’s confident someone from her team will take the prize.

“I am [happy with my team],”Britney told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson at the Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston taping in Los Angeles on Thursday. “I’m pretty sure my team is gonna be the team.”

When asked why she believes her teen team will be victorious, Brit, 30, said they possess the qualities required to win.

“They have it, you know? They have it,” she said. “They have the talent, they have what it takes, they [have] drive, they have the eye of the tiger. They’re amazing!”

In addition to her gig as an “X Factor” judge, Britney will soon release her next single – a collaboration with will.i.am.

“My new single is [called] ‘Scream and Shout’ with will.i.am, it’s coming out soon,” she said, adding that the Black Eyed Peas singer is “fun.”

“He’s just like a little radical genius scientist in the studio when he’s in there and he just knows what he’s doing,” she added. “So just to be able to do a song with him is really fun.”
