It ended almost before it even began.
Britney Spears and model-turned-temporary beau Isaac Cohen have called it quits, according to People magazine.
Surprisingly (or maybe not), Cohen is the one who reportedly broke it off.
Brandi Lord, an agent for Cohen, told People the split was “very amicable.”
“They’re both busy with their careers,” Lord said. “She just got out of her marriage and she has two kids to take care of. Her plate is full, and the same with him.”
Brit and Isaac, both 25, were first romantically linked on January 2 while boating in Southern California. One night later, the couple hit the town in Los Angeles.
In mid-January, Britney told several paparazzi that she and Isaac “were not together by the way,” despite numerous tabloid reports to the contrary.
When asked if it was really over, Britney replied, “Yes.”
During their brief romance, the two were often seen canoodling at various hot spots, including a lavish Las Vegas weekend where they shacked up in a $40,000/night Playboy suite at The Palms.
Oh, the memories they’ll share.
