Brooke Burke-Charvet Thanks Fans After ‘Dancing’ Axe

After her surprising boot from “Dancing with the Stars” on Friday, the show’s now-former co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet took to Twitter to thank fans for their support.

“Thanks for all the love & support. I loved my time in the ballroom & I’ll love my next chapter too,” she Tweeted on Saturday. “Change is positive. Love you guys!”

On Friday, the 42-year-old mother of four had made it clear via Tweet that her “DWTS” exit was not of her own accord.

“Weird day….Shocking pre-season elimination #DWTS…ME,” she wrote. “@Tom_Bergeron didn’t even read my name. I won’t be returning to the show this season.”

Tom, who co-hosts the ABC reality dance competition, replied to Brooke’s Tweet, hinting he was surprised as well.

“Weird day, indeed. Won’t be the same without you,” he wrote. “Dinner soon. No spray tanning required.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, news of Brooke’s “DWTS” exit broke on Friday.

She has served as co-host of the hit reality series since 2010, and won the mirrorball trophy as a contestant with pro partner Derek Hough in 2008.
