Brooke Mueller Checks Into Sober Living Facility, Mom Confirms

Brooke Mueller has checked into a sober living facility in Los Angeles, her mother confirmed to Access Hollywood.

Access spoke with Moira Fiore, Brooke’s mother, who said her daughter has been “struggling with her sobriety since last Christmas.”

According to Fiore, though Brooke has been struggling, the decision to enter a sober house was strictly a precautionary measure.

“She did not relapse — she’s following a program to stay sober,” Fiore told Access on Sunday.

Brooke, the estranged wife of “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen, is currently filming a new reality series with Paris Hilton for the Oxygen network that was scheduled to include a trip to Sin City – something the 33-year-old mother of two did not reportedly feel ready for.

“The crew was going to Vegas, and Brooke was like, ‘That’s not a good idea for me,’” Fiore told Access. “The show is also going on hiatus so Brooke figured this was a good time [to enter the facility].”

Fiore added that while nannies will care for Brooke and Charlie’s twin babies, Max and Bob, in her absence, she will still get to see her children during her short-term treatment.

“She’ll be [at the facility for] a few weeks,” Fiore told Access. “Her parents are proud of her for doing this.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Access spoke with Fiore over the Thanksgiving weekend after rampant Internet reports claimed that her daughter was forcibly taken to rehab on Thanksgiving (after photos of a disheveled Brooke surfaced).

Fiore, who came to LA to spend the holiday with her family, shot down the rumors at the time, telling Access that her daughter “was not and is not in rehab.”
