‘Brothers And Sister’s’ Rachel Griffths Pregnant With Third Child

Hollywood stylistas panned her choice of a golden gown at the Golden Globes last Sunday comparing it to a toga. But now, “Brothers and Sisters” star Rachel Griffiths is explaining her unusual dress by revealing she is pregnant with her third child.

“I know everybody was chattering at the Golden Globes about what I was hiding under that big gold tent,” Griffiths joked to Access Hollywood at the G’Day USA gala, where she was presented with the Excellence in TV and Film award by her “Brothers and Sisters” co-stars Sally Field and Matthew Rhys.

Griffiths was glowing in a black one-shoulder gown as her husband, Andrew Taylor, playfully rubbed her belly while they posed for pictures.

“The bump has been released. I don’t have to suck it anymore,” a smilingly Griffiths added.

Baby number three is due in July and she and her husband have chosen not to find out the sex.

“I found out with the first two. So, I’ve got one of each. I have got a boy. I have got a girl and we are up for the potluck!” she told Access.

Griffiths is already mom to 5-year-old son Banjo Patrick, and daughter Adelaide Rose, 3. She and her husband have begun working on choosing a name for the new addition.

“There is a lot of pressure on me I have to say,” she continued. “It’s tough now. I’m less oriented to finding an Australian eccentric name I should say. I actually do love the name America.”

A rep for ABC tells us Rachel’s pregnancy will not be written into “Brothers and Sisters.” Her character, Sarah Whedon Walker, is a divorced mother of two in the ABC drama.
