Bruce Springsteen Works His ‘Magic’ On The Charts

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (October 24, 2007) – Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen cast a spell on the album charts this week with his latest album, “Magic,” which moved back into the top slot.

It was a tight race for the lead position with Kid Rock’s “Rock n’ Roll Jesus,” last week’s chart leader, coming in right behind Springsteen.

Rascal Flatts’ “Still Feels Good” (no comma) remained steady at No. 3, while Josh Groban’s “Noel” and Jimmy Eat World’s “Chase the Light” rounded out the top five albums.

Fans flocked to their computers to download Chris Brown’s new single, “Kiss Kiss,” rocketing the young R&B star to the top of the digital singles chart.

Last week’s digital No. 1, Soulja Boy Tell’Em’s “Crank That,” slipped to No. 2, followed by Timbaland’s “Apologize,” right behind at No. 3.

Colbie Caillat’s “Bubbly” and Kayne West’s “Stronger” rounded out the top five digital singles.

The top digitally downloaded songs of the last week were:
