Bruce Willis Livid Over Alleged Lemon

LOS ANGELES (May 22, 2007) — Bruce Willis claims he has been given a lemon. But forget making lemonade, Bruce wants his money back.

Willis filed suit this week against Black Tie Classics, claiming the auto dealership sold him “an inoperable car riddled with extensive mechanical problems.”

According to the papers, although the company agreed to take back the 1967 GTO and refund the approximately $65,000 purchase price, Willis claims the company has yet to do so.

The actor claims the company passed off the vehicle as being in “pristine/museum quality condition.”

When contacted by Access Hollywood, John Bertino, owner of Black Tie Classics claims the car was in perfect shape when it left his lot.

“They were complaining the moment they got the car. It’s a beautiful car. There is nothing wrong with it,” Bertino told Access. “I’ve heard of persons with egos, but this is ridiculous.”

In addition, Bertino claims Willis never inspected the car before purchase.

“I asked him if he wanted to check the car out and he said no,” Bertino said. “I said I would fix anything they wanted me to, but this has been a horrible nightmare.”

Willis originally bought the car on December 16, 2006.
