“Breaking Bad” might be coming to a close, but Bryan Cranston is staying on the small screen.
“CASTING NEWS! @BryanCranston returns to #HIMYM later this fall as Hammond Druthers! #BreakingMOTHER,” CBS announced on Twitter on Wednesday.
Bryan’s Hammond Druthers character was Ted’s (Josh Radnor) boss and ex-co-worker at the architectural firm.
The actor appeared in two episodes of the CBS series in 2006 and 2007, as the arrogant and often jerky character.
Details of when the “Breaking Bad” star is slated to return to “HIMYM” have yet to be released.
“How I Met Your Mother” is in its final season and airs Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.
