Buckwild’s Shain Gandee Found Dead

Shain Gandee – from MTV’s “Buckwild” – has been found dead after being reported missing.

The 21-year-old MTV reality star – and two other bodies – were found in a vehicle in in Sissonville, West Virginia on Monday morning, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“This is a very sad and tragic event. We live in a very small community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gandee family. The full details will be released later by the Kanawha County Sheriff Department,” Commissioner Kent Carper said in a statement to Access.

On Monday, MTV released a statement about the loss of Shain.

“We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident. We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly,” a rep for the network said in a statement.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Shain and his uncle David Gandee were last seen at a bar in Sissonville on Sunday at 3 AM.

The Associated Press reported that Shain and his uncle planned on riding all-terrain vehicles over the weekend and their family became alarmed after not hearing from them on Sunday.

NBC affiliate WSAZ reported that it is not known if David Gandee is among the deceased people reportedly found in the car with Shain.
