Camille Grammer: ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Makes Me ‘Cringe’

The Camille Grammer seen on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” isn’t the real Camille, according to the reality star herself, who spoke only with Access on Thursday.

“When I watch the show, I cringe,” Camille told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson in a text message on Thursday, one day after reports emerged suggesting she would not be back for Season 2 of the hit Bravo reality show.

“It is not an accurate portrayal of who I am,” the estranged wife of former “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer continued. “My friends are having to defend me.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, following reports which surfaced on Wednesday that Camille was leaving the series, her rep set the record straight that no decision had yet been made.

“Camille hasn’t made a decision and won’t until after the reunion show,” Camille’s rep, Howard Bragman, told Access.

“She did the show because Kelsey wanted her to do it and now she’s a single mother raising two kids. Her life has changed and she has a lot of new responsibilities,” her rep told People. “She’s also in the middle of negotiating a divorce settlement, so this is not the time for her to make a decision about the show.”

On December 30, The New York Post reported that Camille turned down a $30 million divorce settlement with Kelsey because the deal didn’t include alimony or child support.
