Candace Cameron Bure’s house may have just gotten even “Fuller.” The actress is reportedly in final negotiations to join the “The View” full time.
Variety reported on Thursday that Candace and “GMA Weekend” anchor Paula Faris are reaching deals with the daytime talk show to fill spots left by departing co-hosts Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace. They would join returning panelist Whoopi Goldberg and confirmed newcomers Raven-Symone and Michelle Collins.
Both Candace and Paula have guest co-hosted multiple times, with Candace’s July 7 appearance making waves after she defended an Oregon bakery’s right to refuse service to a lesbian couple.

“I don’t think this is discrimination at all. This is about freedom of association,” the “Full House” alum said during the segment. “It’s about constitutional rights. It’s about First Amendment rights. We do have the right to still choose who we associate with.”
According to Variety, ABC took interest in Candace following the debate and intend for her to serve as the show’s conservative pundit. Paula, meanwhile, is expected to keep her “GMA Weekend” post and fill the “journalist spot” on “The View” Monday through Thursday.

As for Candace’s starring role in the upcoming Netflix spin-off “Fuller House,” ABC is said to be working with the actress’ schedule so she can alternate between jobs. Variety reports that the show is currently deciding on part-time co-hosts to substitute in her absence. Those in the running include Molly Sims, Sherri Shepherd and Stacy London.
