Carrie Ann Inaba Wants To Have A Baby, Hopefully ‘The Old-Fashioned Way’

Carrie Ann Inaba wants to be a mom.

The “Dancing with the Stars” judge, 44, who recently broke off her engagement to former fiance Jesse Sloan, says she’s ready to have a baby.

“I really do want to have a child,” Carrie Ann told People. “So I’m putting my energies toward that.”

The reality judge revealed she has been having monthly checkups with a fertility doctor (who has found her body to be in “good shape” for a baby thus far), and is hoping she’ll be able to conceive naturally.

“I’m hoping that it happens the old-fashioned way, but I’m not opposed to trying new things,” she told the mag.

Though she’s nearing her mid-forties, Carrie is staying optimistic about her conception chances.

“My body is my timeline,” she said. “That doesn’t mean that there can’t be hope and there can’t be a miracle. “

Adding, “A lot of miracles have happened in my life so I continue to believe in them. It only takes one egg!”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Carrie Ann and Jesse ended their engagement over the summer after becoming engaged in March 2011.
