Carrie Underwood Strives To Be A ‘Hot Wife’ For Mike Fisher

Carrie Underwood doesn’t want to ease up on her fitness now that she’s out of the dating pool.

The 30-year-old superstar — who tied the knot with NHL player Mike Fisher, 32, in July 2010 — says her ripped husband inspires her to stay in tip-top shape.

“Even when he’s like, ‘I’m so out of shape,’ he still has a six-pack,” Carrie told People. “Having Mike there – I want to be a hot wife!”

With six Grammys under her belt, the former “American Idol” is on the road for much of the year touring for her fans.

While being away from Mike is difficult, Carrie said she and her husband make it work – but admits that if her career were to cause marital friction, she’d happily give it all up.

“If Mike ever told me he needed me to quit, I’d quit,” she says. “When you make that promise to somebody, and you stand before God and your family and friends, you’ve got to do everything that you possibly can to make that work.”
