Carson Daly has already congratulated his new “The Voice” co-star, Shakira, on the birth of her first child, son Milan, by getting her a very cool present.
“Shakira loves rock ‘n’ roll. I don’t know if people know that about her. She likes heavy metal, so we got her boy a nice little Anthrax onesie,” Carson told Access Hollywood on Friday of his gift for the “She Wolf” singer.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Shakira and her boyfriend, Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique, welcomed their little boy on Tuesday.
In other “The Voice” related news, it was recently revealed that Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the man allegedly behind the Manti Te’o girlfriend hoax, auditioned for the latest season of the show, which begins airing in March.
Asked what he remembered about the audition, Carson said, “not much.”
“I remember the family was big and he has a relative that played for the Raiders and I’m a Raiders fan. And his storyline was, he was in an accident and he comes from a faithful family and singing was sort of the thing that helped him come back, but, what a wild story,” Carson said
On Friday, Carson was on hand in Hollywood as his pal, Jimmy Kimmel, received a star on the Walk of Fame.
“I’m really proud,” Carson said of Jimmy’s honor. “This is long overdue and it’s great. Jimmy’s on such a roll.”
