Casey Aldridge Hospitalized After Being Ejected From Truck; Two Passengers Thrown From Vehicle

Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ 10-month-old daughter, was hospitalized following a single-car accident at 1:30 AM on Sunday in Louisiana, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

A Louisiana State Troopers spokesperson told Access that Casey, 19, was ticketed with careless operation of a motor vehicle, a traffic misdemeanor, following the accident, which took place on the LA 606 freeway, inside Lake Bruin.

Another spokesman for the Louisiana State Troopers told Access on Sunday evening that Casey had been driving a 2008 Ford F-250 and had four young male passengers in the car.According to the spokesman, Casey lost control of the vehicle and ran off the right side of the road into a ditch. He over-corrected when he swung the car back onto the road, causing it to roll over at least once. Casey and two of his passengers were ejected from the truck. The spokesman said Casey suffered “moderate injuries” during the incident.

A spokesman for Riverland Medical Facility confirmed to Access that Casey had been admitted and had left, but could not confirm his current location or status. According to TMZ, Casey had been transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

A spokesperson for the University of Mississippi Medical Center told Access on Sunday they did not have a patient with Casey’s name listed in “the public patient directory,” but that it was “a possibility” that he had been admitted to the hospital and not placed on the list.

According to People, a family source said Casey has “a cracked skull,” but “it’s not as serious as we thought at first.”
