Elizabeth Banks is headed to the White House, as the actress is in final talks to play first lady Laura Bush in “W” in Oliver Stone’s presidential biopic, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Josh Brolin has already signed on to play George W. Bush in the film, which is scheduled to begin filming in April in Louisiana.

Banks will soon be seen in the comedy “Meet Dave,” opposite Eddie Murphy, and the Kevin Smith-directed “Zack and Miri Make A Porno,” alongside Seth Rogen.

James Marsden, Tracy Morgan and Catherine Keener are lining up to get “Nailed,” reports Variety.

The trio would join Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel in the comedy, co-written by Al Gore’s daughter Kristin.

Marsden is in talks to play the boyfriend of Biel’s character – a small-town waitress who gets a nail shot into her head, causing erratic and outrageous behavior. When she heads to Washington to fight for better health care, she winds up falling for a equally naïve congressman (Gyllenhaal) who tries to summon the political courage to save her.

Meanwhile, Keener will play a Congresswoman with her own agenda, while details of Morgan’s character are still unclear.

Sanchez, who many know as Nikki from ABC’s “Lost,” recently wrapped production on another thriller, “Insanitarium,” alongside Jesse Metcalfe.

Jovovich recently reprised her role as Alice in “Resident Evil: Extinction.”
