Casting Call: Former ‘Real World’ Star Joins ‘Hangover 2’ Cast

Drink up, Jamie Chung – you’re headed for a “Hangover.”

The former “Real World: San Diego” reality star has landed a role in “The Hangover 2,” a rep for the actress confirmed to Access Hollywood.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first broke the news, the 27-year-old beauty will join the cast as Ed Helms’ new on-screen fiancee in the sequel to the 2009 Las Vegas-set bachelor party big screen romp.

It’s the second lovely lady tapped to play the love interest of Helms’ character, Stu. In the first installment, Heather Graham played a stripper Stu marries in Vegas. However, it was previously announced that Heather would not be returning for the sequel.

“The Hangover 2” finds the guys — Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha – on a trip to Thailand.

In addition to her stint on MTV’s “Real World” and “Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Inferno II,” Jamie’s acting credits include roles in “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry,” “Sorority Row” and “Grown Ups.”

She also stars in Zack Snyder’s upcoming fantasy flick “Sucker Punch,” alongside Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish and Jena Malone. Jamie also recently wrapped production on the thriller “Premium Rush,” starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jamie isn’t the only new face joining the gang for the “Hangover” sequel.

Liam Neeson will also have a cameo in the film as a tattoo artist in Thailand – a role the veteran actor stepped into after Mel Gibson was axed from the project due to complaints from the movie’s cast and crew.
