Stana Katic has lined up a new gig.
The actress, 34, who currently stars on ABC’s “Castle,” has signed on to play music producer/Goldie & the Gingerbreads frontwoman Genya Raven in “CBGB,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Also joining the cast (which includes Alan Rickman as CBGB club founder Hilly Kristal, and Malin Akerman as Blondie’s Deborah Harry) is “Avatar” actor Joel David Moore, who will play punk rock icon Joey Ramone, THR reports.
The musical drama will be helmed by Randall Miller and is set to begin shooting in late June with a 2013 release date.
