‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Cast Unveiled

Bret Michaels is about to lose his crown to a new “Celebrity Apprentice” heir.

Former teen idol David Cassidy, Atlanta “Housewife” NeNe Leakes, LaToya Jackson, Lisa Rinna and superstar singer Dionne Warwick are among those who will be battling it out in the ballroom to be Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” NBC announced on Friday morning.

Also competing for the title are actor Gary Busey, baseball legend Jose Canseco, original “Survivor” winner Richard Hatch, rapper Lil Jon, singers Meat Loaf, Mark McGrath and John Rich.

Other names on the cast include Playboy Playmate Hope Dworaczyk, former “View” co-host Star Jones, actress Marlee Matlin and supermodel Niki Taylor.

“The next season of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ will be the most exciting yet. We are thrilled to bring back the celebrity format with 16 new and unbelievably talented celebrities who will help me make ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ one of the hottest shows on television this spring. This will be season 11 — Amazing!” Donald J. Trump, said in a statement.

Last season’s stars brought in more than $1.2 million for charity, something executive producer Mark Burnett is looking forward to seeing continue.

“I am thrilled at the return of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice,’” Burnett said in a statement. “It has become America’s Sunday night guilty pleasure, while at the same time, raising millions for charity. This season is the best yet. Buckle your seatbelts.”

Judging the contestants this season in the boardroom will be, of course, The Donald, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., and another of Donald’s son’s Eric Trump.

“The Celebrity Apprentice” premieres March 6 at 9 PM EST on NBC.
