Celebrity Mommy Must-Have: Personalized Jewelry

New mom Hilary Duff recently paid a visit to Access Hollywood Live and although her son Luca didn’t tag along, he was there in spirit.

Duff was sporting a gold and diamond “L” charm around her neck. Check out her interview HERE where she dishes on what it’s like being a new mom.

Wearing your child’s initial is nothing new for celebrities but recently Duff took it one step further. She’s been spotted wearing Dalla Nonna’s calendar necklace marking the date of Luca’s birth, March 20 — check it out here at dallanonnajewelry.com. It also comes as a bracelet and you can even engrave your child’s name on the back of it. Charlize Theron also is a fan of Dalla Nonna having been seen wearing a little gold letter “J” necklace in honor of son Jackson.

As moms, we love to keep our children close when they are not around. Every time I have interviewed Christina Applegate since her daughter was born, she is proudly sporting her gold “Sadie” necklace by Jane Basch. I first spotted the necklace on her, last summer, while promoting her NBC comedy “Up All Night.” I had just become a new mom myself and we instantly bonded over our shared experiences. Watch the interview HERE.

If you are looking for your own personalized jewelry to celebrate your little ones, there are plenty of options online. Katie Holmes is a fan of Jennifer Meyer’s jewelry line (Tobey Maguire’s wife). She has a diamond letter pendant “S” for Suri in yellow gold.

Another popular brand (I own one) is Helen Ficalora. Her charms are super popular among celebrity moms like Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Lopez.

Now if you don’t have kids but still feeling like boasting about someone… then how about a name plate featuring your Twitter handle?! Yes, those exist thanks to the Bauble Bar. I’m not sure it will help up your number of followers but at least you’ll never forgot your @name.
