Channing Tatum: Working On A ‘Bigger’ Magic Mike Sequel

Is a “bigger” “Magic Mike” sequel on the way? According to Channing Tatum, there will be more thrusting, gyrating and naughty fireman costumes for the actor.

Channing was asked about a possible sequel to his male stripping movie during a Twitter Q&A for Britain’s Glamour Magazine.

“Yes, yes and yes!” Channing wrote. “We’re working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger.”

Co-star star Joe Manganiello spoke to Hollywood.com last month about a possible prequel to the Steven Soderbergh movie.

“We’re actually talking about the possibility of doing the prequel,” the “True Blood” star said at the time. “Because if you do the sequel, then you lose Mike [Channing Tatum’s character]. Otherwise, what’s Mike going to do? He’s going to come back for one big heist… so, you would do the prequel — how they got there.”

Also – as previously reported on AccessHollywood.com – a musical version of the movie is also being developed for the stage.
