Charlie Sheen Skips Screen Actors Guild Awards To Visit Wife In Hospital

Charlie Sheen was not present at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday in order to be near his hospitalized wife, Brooke Mueller, People reported.

“Charlie has been great, very attentive and nice to Brooke,” Moira Fiore, Brooke’s mother, told the mag. “He is not even going to the SAG Awards tonight. He wants to be with her.”

A restraining order issued against Sheen on Christmas, following an alleged domestic dispute in Colorado, was modified on Wednesday by a judge so that the “Two and a Half Men” star could visit his wife in the hospital.

As previously reported on AccessHollywoood.com, Mueller was brought to intensive care on Tuesday.

According to Mueller’s mom, Brooke’s condition has improved since she was hospitalized, but she is still having troubles.

“Brooke’s liver and kidneys are better, but doctors are concerned that she still has pneumonia,” Fiore added. “She is weak and trying to blow into a plastic tube. She is having trouble doing that.”

The illness followed Brooke’s surgery for impacted wisdom teeth last week.

A hearing related to Sheen’s arrest was delayed until February 8 due to Mueller’s hospitalization.
