Chelsea Kane Thankful For Disney Fan Support On ‘Dancing,’ Hoping JoBros Will Show Up In Audience

Former “Jonas” star Chelsea Kane may not be a household name among people older than junior high school age, but the fan base she does have has been especially supportive of her turn on “Dancing with the Stars.”

“I love the fanbase that has come over with me from Disney,” Chelsea told Access Hollywood during a recent “Dancing” rehearsal session. “They’ve always been really supportive of everything I’m doing. It’s fun to kind of go through their comments and get their feedback and it’s fun to kind of be in front of a new group of people.”

Chelsea said she’s also been getting a morale boost from her “Jonas” co-stars, the Jonas Brothers. And, they might even end up coming to see her and Mark Ballas dance on the ABC reality competition.

“I hope so, I hope so. They’ve all been in contact with me,” Chelsea said. “They’ve been so sweet and so supportive and those are my boys, those are my brothers, so it means a lot that they are cheering me on.”

Not as helpful is fellow Disney star Kyle Massey, who danced his way to a second place finish on “Dancing’s” Season 11.

“Kyle’s not the best advice giver as much as he is just a great example,” she said. “He’s so all about living life to the fullest and being fearless and [that] was kind of the selling point for me coming on this show. I saw how much fun he had with it and, you know, it was kind of inspiring so to have him there. Just having him there cheer me on was all I needed from Kyle Massey — it’s just his support. He’s the best.
