Cheyenne Jackson & Husband Split

After just two years of marriage, Cheyenne Jackson and his husband, Monte Lapka, have split.

“Cheyenne Jackson and his husband Monte Lapka have mutually decided to divorce. The couple have been together for 13 years and were married in N.Y. State two years ago,” Cheyenne’s rep told Playbill.com. “It is an amicable parting and, understandably, a private matter.”

The 38-year-old Broadway star and “30 Rock” alum married Monte, a physicist, in the Hamptons in September 2011.

Cheyenne announced the couple’s nuptials on Twitter, posting a photo of himself and Monte on the beach.

“It’s official, after 11 years together, Zora’s no longer a bastard,” he Tweeted at the time, referencing the couple’s dog. “Married the best man I’ve ever known.”

The actor, who has also guest starred on “Glee,” will soon be seen on DirecTV’s upcoming drama, “Full Circle,” alongside David Boreanaz, Minka Kelly, Billy Campbell and Ally Sheedy.
